Mission Statement
We here at Orenda Archial hold sacred our privilege and responsibility to create and foster a safe space for spiritual practitioners of all pathways to further explore and learn the arcane arts. We believe that collectively, the knowledge of our ancestors is needed and must be preserved.
We honor the divine in all and believe that each individuals contribution to that warrants exploration and respect.
We believe that all practitioners deserve a quality educational avenue in the esoteric art. We strive to create a space inclusive of various gender expression, race, religion and sexual orientation. We strive to create a safe and welcoming community for all of our members.
Membership Code of Conduct
1. Discussion Etiquette
a. We welcome all healthy, constructive and respectful conversations. In order to maintain a peaceful and safe environment, we will not allow the following subjects to be debated within any of the group’s environments.
i. Politics
ii. Pathway shaming
iii. The superiority of any one belief or practice
iv. Any other subject deemed divisive and destructive to group cohesion. You are welcome to feel how you feel about anything you encounter but we cannot allow personal disagreements to challenge the stability of the group environment.
b. Hate speech will not be tolerated
c. Racism will not be tolerated
d. Bigotry of any sort including sexual orientation or gender expression will not be tolerated.
2. Privacy
a. Privacy is absolute. This is to preserve and protect each individuals right to privacy and discretion. We currently have a mix of members, not all are comfortable sharing information about their practice.
i. Members may not disclose active, former or aspiring members.
ii. Members may not disclose private meeting or event locations
iii. Members may not disclose group information to non-members.
In the interest of safety and stability for the group as a whole, failure to comply with this rule will require immediate removal and possible legal action should this behavior negatively impact a member of this group.
b. Your continued discretion is agreed upon should you decide to continue your membership, leave of your own volition or as a result of having been removed or otherwise censured.
c. Social Media content within our private groups and pages are not to be shared or replicated. This includes but is not limited to recorded classes, members posts, events, rituals, videos, writings, artwork, or other content specifically created for this group.
3. Respect
a. We here at Orenda Archial hold space for all of our members. We agree to respect each other and the ways in which we differ. These included but are not limited to race, religion, sexual orientation, gender expression and chosen path.
b. Should you find yourself in a conversation where you are uncomfortable due to a difference of opinion, please politely disengage and end the conversation. Should you deem this interaction as being outside of alignment with the Code of Conduct presented here, please file an incident report so that we may address the behavior.
4. Conflict Resolution
a. Should there be a point in time where a conflict arises that can not be mutually and respectfully resolved between individual members, we invite you to file an incident report. From there, a respected/trusted council member will reach out to both parties after reviewing the report (please add as much detail and supporting evidence as possible). A resolution meeting will then be set with either or both parties present depending on the situation at hand. Should any member continually be called in for a resolution meeting, their conduct will be reviewed and they may be removed from membership in the interest of group cohesion.
b. If your membership is revoked, you will receive a notice via email and, if possible, a mailed hard copy within seven days. Dues will not be refunded.
