Membership Vetting

Our Process


1. Interested party will apply online via our Expression Of Interest Form. 


2. A council member will reach out to you letting you know your form has been received and will schedule a time to meet with you either via phone call or video chat (whichever you are more comfortable with). 


3. Vetting group will hold our online meeting with you where we will go over your interest form, ask any questions we may need clarity on, answer any questions you may have, and just in general get a feel for one another.


 * if meeting online goes well you will be invited to move on to phase 4. We will send you a list of publicly held events where you can meet in person. This will give you the opportunity to engage with our members and get a more energetic feel for us. 


4. If the in-person meeting goes well, then a vote to add you to the private group will be held.


5. Once vetted and approved for membership, you will receive a notification via email along with payment methods for dues

 

Once received you will gain access to the members-only area on our website, link to our members-only Facebook page and tracking information for your pending welcome packet which will include:

  • A handbook with our mission statement
  • Our bylaws, 
  • Information on how dues work and what they go towards
  • Your custom name tag lanyard to use at future events
  • A printed copy of our upcoming events.


6. Membership dues will be due within 30 days of approval and will cover 1 year of membership. You will not be added to the private group until these are received or your payment arrangement is set up (minimum of 50% is due in order to move forward). In order to facilitate an active, mutually conducive membership, participation will be evaluated prior to renewal of membership. 


7. A notice of renewal will go out 30 days before expiration. 


8. A grace period of 14 days will be given after the due date at which point the member will be removed if dues are not received.
